Gadgets: Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera @Blackmagic_News
Blackmagic Design has designed a compact digital film camera that packs a huge punch. With the Pocket Cinema camera, you can now create film quality images without bearing the weight of a large film camera or carry around a cumbersome tripod.
The body is constructed from a tough cast magnesium chassis, which is both light and strong. The design features a grip that adds comfort and stability when shooting handheld.
Further, 1/4” thread mounting points are located on the top and bottom of the camera for when you want to attach the camera to a tripod, a rig or attach an external microphone.
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera allows for vivid 1920 X 1080 HD images thanks to its Super 16 size sensor. The active Micro Four Thirds mount provides electronic lens control, helps to keep the camera small in size and allows for the use of different lenses.
A large 3.5” LCD screen is one of the many standout features of the camera’s overall design. This extremely high resolution display gives a clear view of your images, plus lets you play back recorded files and displays the camera’s settings.
Overall, the Pocket Cinema Camera is packed with great features; the only drawback is that the battery gets really hot after long use.
