Montreal-based photographer, Naskademini, partnered with CBC to create a photo-essay celebrating the launch of their new TV drama titled, 21 Thunder. The one-hour show follows the lives of the star players of an under-21 soccer academy in Montreal, Canada. The show initially premiered on July 31st, 2017.

Here’s what Naskademini has to say about the photographs he captured:

“Meet Mateo and Noah who travelled from Toronto and found a field in the heart of Montreal to play soccer with their fathers. Their passion for soccer was written all over their faces and was evident in the way they played the game – their game was their thunder.”

The show airs on Mondays at 9PM ET / 6PM PT on CBC.
