SMMF: Stutterheim Öland Cape

When founder Alexander Stutterheim found his grandfather’s old rain coat in an abandoned barn, he immediately wanted to wear it. After a few alterations he redesigned a contemporary rain coat silhouette.

The handmade Öland is a waterproof cape that is crafted from rubberized cotton. It is a stylishly functional piece that is great for rainy days.

The piece was inspired by their classic Ingrid cape, but reimagined as a heavy duty version. The finer details include a snap closure and straps on the inside for cycling.
