My Life: Nike NSW Retail Launch and Block Party

On Thursday August 21st, Nike hosted a Block Party for the launch of the NSW store on 21 Mercer Street in NYC. I was fortunate enough to get invited to this star-studded event and even got to preview the store before the public opening on the Friday.

The 21 Mercer store might just be Nike’s best retail endeavor to date. It’s similar to an old gymnasium with hard wood flooring and wooden bleachers engraved with Nike insignia. The NSW product is fantastic. Technical engineered garments for performance and training and not lacking any fashion elements. 21 Mercer Street will also have EXCLUSIVES only available at this location.

Dj Clark Kent collaborated with Nike on some AF1’s that were on display at 21 Mercer. These sneakers were inspired by the Jets, Yankees and Knicks.
