Looks: Coach Presents Their Autumn 2016 Collection @Coach #LCM

For their Autumn 2016 collection, Stuart Vevers’ of Coach wanted to tap into find the heroism in the American life. The designer looked to icon Bruce Springsteen and his unforgettable Americana style of aged leather jackets, plaid shirts, and worn out denim. This ruggedness was blended with the aesthetic of 90’s New York Hip-Hop with its oversized proportions, bucket hats and high top sneakers.

The resulting looks are laid back and unassuming but the fabrics and construction of the pieces are still sharp and dashing. The use of shearling and the leather jackets harkens back to an era of rebellion against the status quo. What’s more is that the mix of polished, aged, and textured outwear options add a humbling versatility to the collection.
