The Social Club is a Detroit born barbershop that aims to bring back a sense of community within the grooming environment. For them a barbershop is a place to talk about subjects like music, fashion, life and politics. It’s not just a place to get your haircut. They have partnered with Shinola, a multidisciplinary brand that creates American-made products ranging from timepieces, leather goods and bicycles. The brand also calls Detroit home. Together they have extended the sentiment of community outside of the Motor City with a series titled “Shop Talk” that brings together notable people to tell their unique story in a intimate setting.
