more often than not, we see ourselves completley different than the world around us..afterall they only see what we let them see. I won't put people into lists. That's the one thing about the world that truly bothers me is the way we try to summerize everyone and put them into little boxes. It bothers me that my kids come home from school with paperwork you have to fill out marking your nationality, why does it matter!? I think the next one I'm going to put my own in it'll simply say human, lol. I enjoy reading your posts, thanks for sharing a part of yourself with the world!

"What I learned today? What you think of yourself is often not what others think of you"

Very true.

This is truth. I think another thing that's important to take from "Lists" is to understand different peoples' roles in your own life. Get to know peoples' roles, so you can get your expectations from them, and you can know what is and isn't acceptable. Very important.

Great posts, however I agree to a certain degree. I don't think that it is possible to change what people think of you. Whether it is right or worng. I think it also depends on what they are judging and which position they are in to make these assumptions. I know that when I am in a work environment I can be very serious and no BS. To some people who don't know me they automatically think I am that way all the time, when in reality that is just my getting stuff done face. I learned that to be taken seriously sometimes you just have to buckle down and get down to it. That can have you labelled as a B*tch as a woman. My friends know that I am far from that, if I had to spend all my days worrying about what people thought of me , then how could I continue to do me. I think more important than what others think of you, is what you think of yourself. Just my thoughts, great post though
