I read Marcus Troy, because you always are ahead of the game when it comes to whats goin to be hot in the streets, and I think your pretty fashion forward, so I like to read your opinion on things. To be honest I found the site by googling your name, because I am a huge Kanye fan, and I heard the rumor Marcus troy was Kanye’s ghost blogger.
Hi Marcus,
I stumpled upon you because one of the people I follow retweeted something you said. I went on to you page and liked what I saw. I follow you because you aren’t afraid to speak the truth and seem to only blog or shout things out in the positive sense if they are something you truely believe in. Oh and you actually respond on Twitter not like a lot of people who sit up in the ivory towers.
Great posts, keep up the good work,
@marcustroy yo how can I get u an advance copy of the @chrisbosh dvd first ink??
To be honest, I’m more of a Twitter follower.
I forget when I found the blog – when you were featured on the Street Style thing on Complex? I didn’t read then, but I kept seeing your name come up and kept checkin’ for you and now I’m a reader.
I read because you put me on to things I might not be exposed to in my peer group or with what I was reading for before. Moreover, you put a spin on it that isn’t pretentious or anything off putting.
and of course I’m following you on Twitter (@nkwu)
I stumbled upon your site through a post on Bryan E.’s LegendsLeague blog. He talked about how he’s been following your blog for awhile and how you are one of the more well known bloggers out. Not to mention how much love you showed him so much love with that video you made. So I decided to check it out and I’ve been following your blog since. I always dig blogs like your’s and ones like Maestro Knows because not everybody gets to live the kind of life you guys live and know the people you guys know. So it’s always refreshing to get to share some of your experiences. So keep up the good work, peace.
and oh right, twitter: @dmai21
I read marcustroy.com because its pretty much one stop shopping for all of the cultural elements that I’m into. Music, fashion, art, technology, etc. Its inspiring to see a fellow Canadian having such success in the game. I stumbled upon your site by checking out links from some other people that I have a lot of respect for on Twitter. Keep doing your thing!
I actually stumbled on your blog after reading coco and lowe’s blog. I started to read your blog for a couple of reasons. I was starting a blog of my own and knew that you had a very popular blog and I needed pointers. I see that you hustle and work really hard on your blog and that it is paying off. You make stong relationships and contacts and it looks like you are always having fun! I love your sense of style and you are always on the lookout for what is up and coming! I don’t I can count the amount of times I have said to myself “I want that” after reading your posts! Congrats on all of your success and much luck in the new year!

I come to marcustroy.com everyday waiting to see what new exciting post are up. Hoping to see the new fashion trends and following the move that you (marcus troy)get into with not only other individuals but the project you do by yourself. Coming to this website/blog on a daily basis helps me step up my sense of swagger , not only in clothes but in electronics , tavel, accessories and even upgrading my girls fresh to match MY FLY and much more .This blog has opened my eyes to the fashion world, the technology world and also the “real” world, there’s so many places i would like to go to because of you and i thank you.
I hope this is enough reason to win and thanks again.
I read Marcus Troy’s blog because it is both informative and caters to my own tastes. Inspiration for me is hard to come by and reading certain articles truly inspire me. Inspire me to keep going and not give up on what it is that I have in the works…a brand. Thank you for Inspiring!
I found out about you during the whole “ghost blogger” fiasco. I’ve been a fan since. The blog is dope. I like the format, and the stuff you post is usually things that I have a interest in.
Keep Up the Great Work!
oh yeah almost forgot … @JRBILLIONAIRE – twitter
Found out about MT because someone said you were Kanyes Ghost blogger and I am fan of Ye. But This one of my favorite sites really and whorst we both from MTL, MT is one of the first persons I followed on twitter and my first tweet was to try and win that camera LOL
First came across your blog when you were featured on Complex.com’s Street Detail awhile back. Just from reading the detail I figured you’d have some dope interests, so I just visited the blog from there and it reassured me of what I initially thought about you.
The main reason why I read your blog is because you post about a multitude of things betwen culture, fashion, music, art, tech/gadgets, and etc. Not to mention I’ve taken away some good things to live / follow by just by reading through your “Live from the Berry” series you have on here.
Like I said before, dope.
I don’t really remember when or how I found your blog but it’s been a minute, it’s been a minute since I commented to come to think about it. I mostly read because you’re not a reposter not sure if that’s a word. I get original content our style might not be the same but I get to see the other side of the coin.
Oh by the way that one site you started and only did 2 or 3 post…yea your slacking. Unless I’ve missed somethin
Honestly I cant remember how I came upon your site. One things for sure tho, any sites I follow have to either be one of my homies or something that I can learn from and every time I visit your blog I learn something new. You always give readers a look at the different sides of things. Not to mention I can visit your site instead of going to five-six other sites to get my info on gadgets, clothes, trends, etc.
@MitchAQI
well i randomly found ur site through some fashion blogs, and on hypebeast. i just decided to start browsing through your posts and really found them captivating…you dont just talk about anything but you have substance to all of ur posts. you keep each section organized and i appreciate this from a great blogger. i spoke to you once via twitter (@polotees) about the all black good wood jesus piece when u got it and how crazy i thought it was n suggested u should have some kind of contest to give 1 away…and now look, my prayers have been answered (lol) no pun. but im a more than a frequent reader of the site and will continue to be a follower (via twitter). stay up family.
Ironically, I started reading your blog when you started talking about the goodwood pieces. Instead of leaving after I read the article, I was glued to the screen and read a number of your blog entries. I am currently applying to colleges and your blog entries inspired me to apply to FIT. I always felt I was interested in fashion, but after reading your blog and seeing how you do fashion for a living and are a jetset around the world I quickly saw that if I applied myself I could make the amount of money I want and do something I love. Regardless of whether I win this contest or not I wanted you to know that your blog deffinitly is a big inspiration and I hope that I can be succesful in fashion one day too. Thanks for the blogging,
Cody
Well i started reading your blog becuase i stumbled upon on you earlier this year on the complex website on the street style, wildin or stylin? Its funny becuase i just thought you were some regular dude just looking fresh that so happened to be on complex, and when i started reading your Q&A, it intrigued me and just you so happened to have a blog! Me not looking for a blog but just looking for everyday individuals with taste and style for inspiration!, followed the link to your blog, and little did i know! Lol Not only have i been a loyal reader since then, always checking your blog everyday, but the content, lifestyle and products you post inspired me such! Your blog is like my second Hypebeat to check for updates on products, or your quotes and wisdom tips on Live From The Berry (my favorite posts)are the best man, like seriously, please continue to inspire us! I always wanted to blog, but your actually the reason why i went from procrastination to I’m setting up my blog now! Just because of your taste, lifestyle and occupation inspired me so much, and it was crazy how you made it on complex,!! A Simple complex feature lead me to some one dope and influential as you was crazy because it wasn’t intentional. If there’s anything i learn from your blog, its That success isn’t handed to you, you gotta work for it, believe, set apart, and that you can do it too! Oh and stay fresh and set your own lifestyle! Whether I get this chain or not, i just wanted you to hear my gratitude, because your one of the best bloggers and one my favorites, Thank You For Greatness!
I found the blog when I was looking for photos of an event in LA and became a regular reader because MT blogs about his life, his life isn’t about blogging. Get out of the house more often, other bloggers!
I actually stumbled upon marcustroy.com through word of mouth. Your name as one of the better lifestyle/fashion bloggers kept coming up in conversation. I needed to know who this infamous Marcus Troy was. lol. So I decided to check out your site and be the judge. And the rest has been history. I check the site out everyday.
One of the many reasons why I read your site is your credibility. When you mention how dope a new brand is I actually believe it. You don’t come off like you’re doing it for a check. You actually seem like you co-sign things you believe in. I just feel connected to your writing and the things you post here. I also like how you give a little of you on the site. The site is very personal, interesting, and sincere.
I remember hitting you on twitter about something totally unrelated to the site and you responded back. That was super dope to me. From that day forward, you’ve always had a supporter in me.
I came about your site from some other hometown trendsetters i.e. DJ Psychology.
So in December 2007, in my first Montreal winter cold and alone, I’m on Hypebeast, and I happened to click on a Marcus Troy link. I found out that you were based in Montreal and were onto some dope stuff (I think it was the Nike M65 Jacket that I was reading about). Not only are you onto all sorts of things well ahead of the curve, but you’ve always responded to my questions, posts, etc, and that is much appreciated. Keep it up.
I discovered the blog after the Kanye “ghostwriting” debacle. I did a post about ghostwriting, you commented and I’ve frequented the blog ever since. The “mylife” section is probably my favorite, only because it provides a glimpse into the life a full time blogger/culture hound who grinds and knows his craft. The product vids are also dope. I already follow you on Twitter…we had a brief exchange today! Take it light, man-
Easy.
Through Two Black Guys (indirectly). It was sometime in 2007 and Trey Songz came to my college (South Carolina State University) and did a show. He performed a song that I wasn’t up on. Come to find out it was “Replacement Girl” with some dude name Drake. Started following up on Drake and found an advertisment with him and TBG. DOOOOOOPE! Started following TBG and found out about Randsom, Goodfoot, and all that stuff! So basically I just tried to get all the Canadian streetwear info I could…
Then I found Marcus Troy. First thing I said (and still say to this day) “How this dude making a living off this stuff?” and started my first blog in 2008. I’m still in South Carolina so I’m like “Well if they can do it in CA I can do it here.” Long story short I’m on blog #3 and just getting now getting this shit (sorta) right. Big salute to you homie.
Keep up the good work. MIXX!
Why? cause it’s one of my homepages is marcus troy, because it passes these hypebeasts.
secondly. i know you from one of the properganda fam’s very own jonel fenol.
and i’m signing up for twitter just for this. lol
JTABS
i got on your blog due to that lil situation with the yeezy’s and you having them way prior to their release date. was never into readong fashion blogs till i read your site, since then, its been MT all day everyday. i love your sense of style, you take some dope photo’s and when my son grow’s up i want him to be like Marcus Troy, jkn.lol, oh and i’m already following you on twitter! @HazelEyes233….
Well I don’t really remember how I discovered your blog but it was love at first read! lol Then I started deeing your name everywhere and I thought oh ok he’s kinda like abig deal AND he’s from montreal!
I read and appreciate your blog because I think you represent the new generation, the new era of people who understand and have a passion for art wether it be in fashion, music, writing, photography and other forms of it.
I first got familiar with your MarcusTroy.com as a linkback from another site. But several things make me continue to read it.
For one, you keep me up to date on the latest, dopest stuff. Point blank period. I find out about gadgets, gear, and other stuff from here. You have great taste, and you give me a good idea on products I’d either buy or gawk at.
Also, you seem to be humble and appreciative of the products you receive to review. Many other “cool hunters” simply use their blog as a forum to brag about free stuff they get, but you seem to appreciate the work/art put into products, their usefulness, and the way they can enrich lives. I respect that passion a lot, and that’s one reason that I actually visit *and* comment here, lol
Lastly, the “From The Berry” posts are always on point. You usually either say ideas/beliefs that I either already agree with, or are new ideas that give me a change of perspective. Favs include the “Come Heavy Or Don’t Come At All” and the “Rules On Cosigns.”
So in short, MarcusTroy.com is exactly what a blog should be. Planned on sending this in an email during some year-end kudos to colleagues/mentors, but the opportunity for a Good Wood piece gives incentive to make it a comment, lol. Keep up the good work.
And I’m already following you on Twitter (@WEKetchum).
Hey Marcus
I just came across this page from an article sayibg you were Kanye West’s Ghostblogger. As ridiculous as that sounds (i’m a huge kanye fan), if it is true, then your work is appreciated. Tight work on your own blog as well. Hit me up sometime if you want to do a record or something.

EVEN THOUGH I DON’T USE TWITTER I STILL BEEN FOLLOWING YOU FOR A MINUTE NOW. I STARTED FOLLOWING YOU AFTER YOU DID A INTERVIEW WITH NICK FROM SLAMxHYPE. I CAN’T REMEMBER WHEN THAT CAME OUT BUT I KNOW IT WAS AROUND SUMMER TIME EITHER JUNE OR JULY. AFTER THAT INTERVIEW I STARTED FOLLOWING YOU AND YOUR BLOG. EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR WEBSITE IS “DOPE” FROM THE REVIEWS YOU GIVE AND THE DIFFERENT PLACES YOU VISIT BRINGS SOMETHING BRAND NEW TO THE BLOGGING WORLD. ALSO I SUBSCRIBE TO YOUR YOUTUBE PG. I JUST RECEIVED MY 2 JESUS PIECE FROM GOODWOOD YESTERDAY AND ONE OF YOUR JESUS PIECE WILL MAKE MY COLLECTION DOPE. HOPE I GET CHOSEN GOOD LOOKING FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE ONE OF THESE JESUS PIECE BEFORE IT COMES OUT. BE SAFE

I stumbled upon your blog a while back. Nicekicks posted something about a pair of kicks and linked MarcusTroy as the source. I clicked the link and it lead to this blog. This was back when you were able to chat with your bloggers right from marcustroy.com via IM. I think we talked for like 3 minutes and all I remember telling you is that I was from North Carolina. Every since then I’ve been hooked to your blog. You’ve changed the layout a bit since then lol. And I can tell you actually put a lot of time and effort into wat you do…like you’re passionate about it. And blogging seems to be something like a “craft” to you. I follow your personal and blog twitter pages to make sure I never miss a new post lol. Honestly, you seem to be up on more info than most of the “popular” blogs out now. And I think it’s cool that you actually communicate back with your bloggers. I respect that. But much love to you Marcus Troy. Stay up and keep doing what you do….like you say “bloggin ain’t easy but somebody’s got to do it!” Peace & love
-@Rhondeezy_87
i read because you give an real look at fashion and life. you give a personal and honest look at a lot of interesting things. i also like how connected you are to your readers. you set aside time to really connect with us and that makes the experience even better.
i found out about you through a fashion blog. i dont remember which one now it has been too long. but i remember seeing them re-post something you had reviewed and i wanted to hear more about what you were saying so i started to follow your site.
keep up the good work.
As a huge Nikehead, I’m always trying to be up on the latest Nike info. I came to know about you through the feature Nike Canada did on you “Nike Sportswear – Best of 2008: blogger Marcus Troy”
http://www.nike.com/nikeos/p/sportswear/en_CA/view_post?country=CA&lang_locale=en_CA&blog=en_CA&post=en_CA/2008/12/26/best-of-2008-blogger-marcus-troy
Ever since then I’ve been peeping your site and commenting, and putting other likeminded people and those with similar interests onto your site as well – they are now also faithful MT followers (on the blog, Twitter, and Facebook!).
Keep doing what you do!
Because the blog has what I am interested in and its good to see people have things in common so far away all strung together by common interests like say perhaps the beads of a Jesus Piece. Ran across the blog randomly about a year ago and followed the Reeses Pieces like ET to the Jesus Piece and the homeland. Im here watchin live all the way the beast from East. Keep it up.
You keep it moving forward ya know we keep it movin hraa hraa (Meth Voice)
Mr. Ice Cream Man
I read marcus troy because he covers a wide variety of dope shit. i think i stumbled upon it google-ing some gucci kicks
Marcus!
I have to admit, I’m not a long term reader, but I am a fanatic! I think I probably have gone through more than half of your posts over the past months. I don’t remember how i stumbled upon your blog, but damn I’m glad! When it comes to basically everything your on top of the game bro! Your trend setting and at the same time inspiring. And best of all I never thought someone from “O Canada” can do it up like this=)…. I’m a proud Torontonian =)
i honestly wish I could remember when I started reading, but your site has been on my daily reading list for some time now. I usually read because its an honest opinion from a regular guy, and thats the kinda shit I like. I mean I have nothing against other sites, but so many just feel like they just list shit from around the web without any kinda thought into why they are even bothering. Great work sir.
Because of the different contents you post. While other blogs are mainly monogamous, you cover pretty wide variety of stuffs. I also like the video part where you bigging ups up and comings/existing clothing lines by opening their packages or whatsoever. I came across it when I was reading thelegendsleague.com and somehow @legendsleague was mentioning your name and website. Keep up the good work sir.
i started reading since the goodwood pieces and i’ve been in love ever since. you are always on point and your site is clean and fresh. keep it up and i really want one of these pieces
I wake up, read blogs (yours is one of them) and go to work. It is a way of living and I enjoy it a lot
The reason I read marcustroy.com is i want to be updated on the new trends and hot/unique in fashion, especially for a dude like me that fell off the map in those catogories. My co worker told me about marcustroy.com (@greazyisnotu) and been telling everyone about it. Plus im a christian so the jesus piece would be perfect.
god bless!
you got mad fans

The blog is a source of inspiration actually. Seeing your taste level progress and grow as the years have passed really inspire my journey through discovery. I problem can’t put the cash down on Visvim (awesome aesthics), but getting the opportunity to be exposed such passionate companies & designers is a part of my self education.
I found your site through Sandra Rose’s post in July of 2008. I’ve been staying tuned ever since. Keep achieving great things homie.
i stumbled upon marcustroy.com on twitter, @dresslikekanye retweeted you. <3
I gotta give it up 2 @marcustroy! U livin’ a helluva life brothua! http://myloc.me/show.php?id=20NFA

This is honestly a site I visit daily. I believe I stumbled upon this site one day and have favourited it ever since. I’m a kid from Toronto who’s always looking for new experiences and interesting people. You caught my eye with you’re unique fashion sense and overall successful lifestyle. I respect the fact that you’re so well connected and I myself want to strive for success and have had a hard path but I continue to keep my head up. I basically use this blog as a daily reminder of what success can bring and the accomplishments of hard work. I appreciate the fact that you let all of us readers into you’re life and give us a taste of a lifestyle not many of us have. You definitely epitomize fashion and class and I’ll continue to read daily for advice and enjoyment.
Thanks
I stumbled on to your blog when Sandra Rose said that Kanye had a “Ghost Blogger” and thought it was you, been following ever since.
from when you told me about the site at the barbershop till know and the future. In my eyes ur progress while far too many ppl are stagnent.Being out the box is a stamp of history, culture ,travel, style, and maturity. Your blog is TESTEMENT OF HARD WORK. You made me want to go harder in helping the career of MUGZ ,(montreal hip hop artist). I was happy to see you posted THE RECAP, THANK YOU.That being said JESUS pieces are classic. 30 inch cuban links with a JESUS piece is history of an art form Wu-tang (Rae ONLY BUILT FOR THE CUBAN LINK )nuff said.Be it gold, iced out, or carved out of wood it’s CLASSIC.
I moved from Chicago to Houston, about a year and a half ago. I left everything I knew, including the things that influenced my style. A couple months into the move, I noticed that my style was stale, I didn’t know what was current, and I didn’t know what coming. To add to that, I was totally uninspired by most of what I saw locally. So I went to your site (one of the only lifestyle blogs I read) for inspiration. While, I don’t exactly remember exactly when I started coming to your blog, I remember when it became, most relevant to me. Keep it going!
I found the site while at work one day, they block a lot of sites and I was looking for a pic of some Jordans my friend told me about. I googled the name of the shoes and this site came up, come to find out it was a cool site and Ive been checking it out since then.
I was going to post and then I saw all the entries and said “fuck it…I aint got no chance”…so…I guess all I have to say is…”fuck it”. Thanks for the false hope Marcus.
Hi Marcus
I came across Marcustroy.com when I started my internship with Offshoot Communications in the Fall of 2008. The staff at Offshoot introduced me to the world of blogging and the top bloggers out there just to stay on top of what new and relevant. I started surfing the net looking for more blogs that appealed to my own personal taste and interest, yours was one of them. I’ve been subscribed to Marcustroy.com on my Google reader for about a year now, everyday I check for new updates. After a year of viewing and reading blogs many of the blogs that I found dope and original in the beginning fell off with me but yours stayed consistent. Marcustroy.com I feel is a blog that truly appeals to the urban arts and lifestyle, showcasing daily reviews, tradeshows, new products and music. This blog truly grasped the creativity that waits out there to be acknowledged in the urban community; also the layout of the blog captures my attention and keeps it there. The work and dedication that goes into staying consistent and relevant is admirable and inspiring. The daily posts go into detail and lets readers know exactly what you are talking about. In conclusion it’s the creativity, the consistency, originality and the mutual admiration for the arts and street culture is why I have been subscribed to Marcustroy.com for a year now.
Peace
Rashid Akeem Sobers
I found the site when Kanye aired you out on his blog.
I found your site via twitter thru CtotheJL. Those pieces are sweet, so I thought I’d enter to win! The blog looks interesting, I’ll definitely add you to my rss.
What up Marcus first site is DOPE. I actually came across your site cuz you actually followed me on twitter first then I started following you. I have been reading Marcus Troy for quite some time now. I read this blog because most blogs do not have full on reviews of products. Marcus Troy gives you those reviews and , gives you what to look for and all the trendy must have items for the seasons. Also has a great music taste and gives you a full on view of music for the soul. Marcus also is very professional when it comes to a blog readers questions about one of his post , he responds in a timely manner and gives you information other blogs cant. Lastly I read it because his blog is motivation for me to dream to be able to not only have all these , but making them a reality.
ps. His insight even got me an A on my fashion essay thanks MT ….
I began reading Marcus Troy through a link from another blog. The content and interaction with the readers is great and you consistently contain a high level of individuality in a world in which many people go along with the crowd. I am heavily influenced by you’re choices and recommendations and respect you’re great understanding and knowledge of fashion and design. I also share many common interests and this is why the blog is so appealing to me. I believe this blog is a staple in this genre and I am very impressed with the commitment and dedication you put into you’re journalism. I am always keen to get a better look into the life of such a well established and interesting person, and I hope you continue to give the readers such a great opportunity to interact with you and show our appreciation. You seem like you would be a great person to hang out with who has such a great amount of life experience at such a young age. If you’re ever in Toronto, I would want you to contact a dude to possibly discuss life.
Cheers
damn.. all these comments!
i keep saying “we should take notes from you”
and i already see where your going as far as the “MT” brand.
im just showing love as usual, i really don’t want to win.
regardless im always here.. stay safe homie!
I began hearing about you through different sites like Hypebeast, Ctothejl and I find it interesting the info you blog about like your post are always head of the game the info I find on your website is refreshing to see another person perspective on fashion and life in general your blog is universal and I hop more individuals are destined to find out about Marcus Troy.
Dear Marcus,
I know you possibly may not be interested in my post what so ever, but I am interested in yours. You see I just began reading your blog today & honestly how I found it was by your youtube videos. After analyzing your videos you seem to have so much creativity in you and it’s inspiring me in so many ways, video wise/photography wise. I am honestly astonished by the way you articulate different aspects of art into so many ways and some how make it so clean and simple, it’s something unique. Basically uniqueness in simplicity. And I’m not just saying this for the contest because I could care less if I win but this comment is just my opportunity to communicate with you and just to let you know that you probably inspire many more people then just me and don’t give up at it. Because it’s hard to find good work these days and sometimes that’s just what we need… Good work. So once again thank you.
- Muneeb Arain
You truly inspire me brotha. You consistently push the envelope and offer a refreshing and almost unheard of sense of style and class. I have to get my daily dosage of this blog and I particularly enjoy the coolhunts section as there is always an interesting and exciting find, which I usually want to buy. I inspire to be as successful in attaining a dream job in which every day is more enjoyable than the last. I don’t really have that great of luck so far in my life and I’ve learned that you just have to roll with the punches. Happy Holidays and God Bless!
Peace
I have a clothing line called, Rock Co. & Kane, im not trying to promote it on here the reason I mentioned it is because you started following my clothing line on twitter, (@RCKCLOTHING) under (@marcustroyblog), so I checked out your blog and it was the craziest blog I have ever seen. It was really a superblog! Im not saying that just because either. I own a sneakerblog, and although there alot of sneakerblogs. I did it because I live in Baltimore most the people I’m cool with never look on blogs, some didn’t even know what one was. So i made one for all the people I know which is a good amount of people, and everybody in my school was on it like oh yeah (@projectsole) said this is coming out on this date. That was crazy to me that i was capable of doing that. So i look at you as like the greatest of bloggers, because you do what i did x100. You represent Dom Kennedy’s line “some niggaz got jobs, but I got 16″
That’s exactly how I look at you, and i hope in the future if you ever see what I produce as talent then we can work together, if not then it wasn’t meant to be.
@marcustroy hope you can read what i sent, cuz that was all real.
via Twitoaster
@marcustroy so who wins the prize? lol u know you got to hook up a felow blogger haah http://datsdope.blogspot.com/

I read Marcus Troy because you are an inspiration for me.
I like the way you try to get in touch with you readers and really appreciate it.
You’re always ahead of everyone else and I really enjoy seeing things through other people’s eyes.
You are blessed, so now bless me…

Hey M. Troy I got hooked on the site through Street Etiquette I believe and a photo shoot i think you both were apart of a while back. I am an African American young black guy who has always been into the art and fashion scene. I wanted to find blogs by people like me that werent catering to a the feminine aspect of fashion, but showcased real guys who have style. Well now that Im in dental school i dont get access to alot of stuff due to time so when i want to catch up on a recent davidz collabo or a fly new jacket to get me through finals you know I gotta hit up your site homie! The site is professional and chic and not too many random situations! I may not have a blog or website but believe me the “nerds” and “academics” want fly stuff too and I am your professional/graduate school conduit PR team! Well much love for the holiday and spread the love of God with a Bomb Jesus peace to your homie B2THELEE! (I gotchu u in a few years on any dental work lol peaccceee oouututttt)
yo marcus just droppin again to say good work on the blog. Im hooked. I seem to keep checking for updates every hour. Im planning a trip to the east coast in 2010, hopefully catch some of that east coast swagg.
#76 … I think!
This is actually my second time commenting. First was when I noticed a sick nautica watch you got as a gift. I’m very big on watches and what not. Your style, along with a few other “style” blogs(the satoralist, streetetiquette) I check pretty much daily. I like the fact that you don’t try and keep up with the jones but provide them a different way of seeing things through your points. Keep doing your thing and hopefully I can be rocking some GoodWood pieces soon. I do follow you on Twitter. I’m _333 peace!

Greetings Marcus,
Regardless of the chaos in one’s life, I still manage to find time to check up on a few of my favorite sites, beginning with yours. I recall stumbling across your page, while living in Los Angeles. I found myself working a 9-5 office (cubicle) job, after working retail for 9 years and throughout college as well. So there I was, working 9-5 M-F, first job out of college, a new city, new job, and lots of spare time between tasks.
I began randomly searching for Men’s Fashion blogs or websites, and because we all know Men’s fashion is not as prevalent in reporting or blogging as women’s is, I was pleasantly surprised to run across a site like yours. At the time, it had the old format to it, and was still extremely easy to navigate.
I had asked you through an e-mail what got you started on such a quest, and journey to bring fashion information to those that just might not have the exposure, for instance those in rural or outerlying cities. I am truly in awe of the things you encounter and see, from your Facebook postings to your Twitter updates, the events, people, places and products you are exposed to, are simply stunning.
Keep up the good work, I can speak for a lot of individuals when I say, “Thank You” Happy Holidays-MT.

who won??? i aint even try cause im not that good of a writer.
I go on marcus troy because of the clothing, shoes, and accessories. Everything is high quality and at a good price. I stumbled upon marcustroy.com from watching the preview of The Sebago Nexus Project, on street etiquette. I just hope you pick me to receive one of these amazing necklaces. Keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
Keegan Gaines.
The reason I check out your website is because on of my friend was telling me how you already had stuff out before they came out and you was always on it. I have a fashion blog also but I’m inspired by what you are doing. I respect and look up to your blog to help me on my regular day.
Good Job,
Jean Marc
