My Life: Big Broter YOUTUBE is watching

I use Youtube very casually to upload videos. The only reason I got an account in the first place was so I could see some of the videos that were rated over 18. Anyway like most people I use youtube for it is the source for all snippets, missed shows, fights, music videos and pure hilarity from around the world. Maybe I was not paying attention to my youtube account. But I just started noticing them recommending videos to me!!!!! What??? That is crazy, I do like Drake but how the hell are they recommending videos to me? Is it based on my viewing habits? I watch so many random videos how could they possibly associate me with ATL hoodrat soulja girl? Anyway big brother is watching, be careful… maybe they track my off youtube habits? Never know! Or I am just being paranoid?

    they did that shit to me too. i watched the trailer of high school musical, and they started sending me all these ashley tisdale interviews and videos.

    Paranoid. Just like how Google Analytics analyzes the data from visitors to your site, YouTube analyzes data from keywords of videos that you watch and “suggests” matching keyword from other popular videos. Yes, it’s a form of Big Brother, but what can you do? S’been going on for AGES, Netflix used to take data from what you would rent from them and “suggest” other movies from the same director, actor, or genre for a viewer to also rent. Don’t worry, everything on the net and iPhones are being watched at all times. Even the CIA is watching! :|

    Anyways, I just heard “Get Over It”…it’s crazy to hear him still…from Degrassi to this…haha
    It’s dope though.
