Wow! This video is pretty funny, some real funny moments. Ha! Got to love the Canadian Accent.

Good Job Ye!

* Update

I took to twitter to see what people were saying about the video, to my surprise a lot of people did not like it! From their comments, I gathered that people expected a lot more. I guess when you put the hottest rapper in the industry at the moment Drake, and then you match him up with a visionary such Kanye, people have high expectations. I think ladies expected the video to be much more romantic and fellas expected it to be much more groundbreaking.

I like the video for a number of reasons, besides the scantly clad ladies and the over accentuation of their assets. The dialogue was humorous, Drake believing that is loosing ball team is still the best after a crazy lost.(life metaphor) The sexual innuendos also show a bit of Kanye’s personality which makes it a bit real. I like the fact that the video wasn’t over shadowed by celebrities and other distractions, the focus was on Drake and the lovely ladies.

    Ye’s directorial vision disappointed me. It definitely reflects his obsession with porn and shows his sometimes awkward humor. For a visionary Kayne chose the easy way out with the “breasts”, I mean “bests” concept and there was no need for so many slow motion scenes… Drake’s acting performance could’ve been much better, too. Dude’s an actor, for crying out loud… I’m a fan of both and had the pleasure to work with Ye on several occasions, so I’m really not hating. I’m just saying I expected more…

    Yes the video was full of metaphors and may have been a good look for an well established artist such as Ye. The video was NOT a good look for a new artist. After watching the entire video you are still left wondering, “Who the hell is Drake?” The mixtape is awesome but I have just not been impressed with any of his live performances and now his first video. The only people who will come up off of this video are the sexy video vixens who graced the set..lol. But seriously, Drake will need alot more grooming as an artist to live up to the hype and next time, go with a TRUE director. Lyrically, dude is nice though. No doubt.

    what i meant to say is that drake had to make a video explaining what was going on in his music video, just not good..

    can’t co-sign this video.. and im a drake fan
    total disappointment.
    the video itself isn’t bad. i kinda liked some of it
    i honestly think it’s detached from the song theme.
    i didn’t visualize a high school basketball game, when i here this song!
    the video may have worked for another record.
    i can totally understand metaphorical use of coaching a losing game.
    but my issue is this could have been better, with more visuals and staying on
    topic, they need more footage.
    i hope they do another version

    Sonically: Good.

    Visually: Disappointing.
