NEEDS & WANTS is a luxury sportswear jacket brand hailing from Toronto, Canada.  It is the brainchild of Toronto artist Sean Brown who believes in putting an emphasis on combining traditional outwear with modern design.

In a day and age where the lines are blurred between what we really need versus what we want, Sean believes that we need both equally and this belief is reflected and emphasized in the design that goes into crafting NEEDS & WANTS’ pieces.

The brand’s less-is-more mantra puts emphasis on long-lasting quality, function and craftsmanship with each jacket made entirely by hand in Toronto.

Their most recent lookbook features both new and old styles with their finely fabricated varsity jackets serving the main focal point. Several tweaks and updates are made such as contrasting sleeves and mixed fabrics – all the while staying true to the ever classic silhouette of the varsity jacket.

The varsity jacket according to the brand is synonymous with “camaraderie” and that “our varsity represents a bigger idea, a higher standard. In this case, a specific taste and well rounded living.”

This sense of camaraderie permeated throughout the NEEDS & WANTS lookbook as it stars their Fellow Toronto natives.
