When Google had finally unveiled their highly anticipated ‘Pixel’ smartphone, it was showcased in “Quite Black”, “Very Silver”, and in a limited edition colour called “Really Blue.” This special colour was initially available in the United States but it has now crossed the border into Canada and it can be picked up now at Rogers locations. The devices are built to the same specs with vivid AMOLED 5-inch X and 5.5-inch XL screens, a textured but smooth glass-aluminium body, and fingerprint sensor, but the only downside being that there’s no 128GB memory option.

In case you weren’t familiar with the Google Pixel, here are some of the notable features of the device:

  • With an aperture of f/2.0 and large 1.55μm pixels, makes the Pixel the highest-rated smartphone camera ever. So no matter the what the shooting conditions may be, you’ll be able to capture sharp images anywhere, anytime.
  • Google Assistant has been built into the Pixel’s Android OS, which means you can easily organize yourself, search the hours of your favourite places in the city, check the score of the basketball game and more.
  • Having a smartphone that can last the whole day with you is important. While some may recommend having a mobile charger handy, it can be too bothersome to carry around sometimes. If you’re in need of a quick charge, the Pixel can achieve up to 7 hours of battery life on a 15 minute charge.
