Footwear: Rockport Spring 2011

These Spring 2011 Rockport shoes have to be one of the nicest pairs I’ve seen from them in a long time. These are set to be released in Spring 2011 and I must say I need to have these in my life. The homie SQ was wearing these in New York City a couple weeks ago and I had to show you guys these great looking shoes. I love the woven outsole on the crepe bottom, the taping around the upper is a nice detail. The nubuck is rich and the waxed laces are just a great bonus. SQ was killing them in the streets that afternoon.
For those of you who don’t know, Rockport is a shoe manufacturer based in Canton, Massachusetts. It was Founded in Marlborough, Massachusetts in 1971, and was purchased by Reebok in 1984.

Do you wear Rockports? What has your experience been like?
I had a pair of Beige nubuck/faux leather rockports when I was in high school. I bought them at a thrift store though they were totally new (someone got cold feet?) and they were the most comfortable casual shoes I ever wore. And I skated them pretty hard a few sessions and they held up. It was magical. These look like their take on the Wino kind of plimsoll. Looks very cool though for sure.
You can really see @TeamEpiphanyNYC’s “influence”. Its truly remarkable how they are reviving brands like Timberland and Rockport and infusing them with new flavor. My goal is to meet/work with them one day soon, after my education is done. Keep up the good work Marcus and Team Epiphany!
hey would really love to know where he got those digi camo pants they look sort of slim fit.

First, let me say these shoes look great, and wait until you see the other colors. 2nd “Epiphany” hasn’t worked with Rockport in almost 2 years, and in a product influencing capacity even longer! IF anything they made the brand worse off with some of the things they did…
This influence is strictly in-house my friend! So props to the Rockport product team! Great things to come!
