Footwear: Red Wing x Neighborhood boots

As long as I can remember Timberland boots have always been part of the hoods uniform, matter of fact it was the standard for us and other kids especially in the inner city. I guess the appeal came because of it’s rugged aesthetic, quality and its perceived indestructibility, but as we got older and timberland was being over distributed, bootleg and started making funny colours and wack appliques, the appeal was lost. Guys in the know slowing turned their back on the tree and shifted to the wing. Red Wing established in 1905 known for their quality, durability, comfort and fine craftsmanship became the boot of choice amongst the boot elite.
Here you have above the Red wing and Neighborhood Japan collaboration. It is so dope and sexy, I wish I had a pair but they’ve been sold out everywhere.
Red Wing was founded in 1905, not 1915.
