    • Footwear: adidas Originals Consortium x OTH @OTHboutique

    IMG_2345 IMG_2346 IMG_2347The sneaker you see above marks the first collaborative project between Off The Hook and adidas Original Consortium. It’s a Tubular Moc Runner that is inspired by the early French Canadian voyageurs.

    These voyageurs were tradesmen who traveled tirelessly across what would become Canada, on foot and canoe, to Native American communities and trading posts. They adopted many style cues from their indigenous counterparts and, in turn, OTH has integrated these traditional elements in their adidas shoe.

    The upper is a blend of smooth premium black leather and wool uppers that is accented classic moccasin stitching at the toe box and a split tongue. Inside, a frozen lake is printed on the insole to recall the many treacherous lake crossings during winter expeditions. A lake-blue is also featured on the outsole.

    The shoe will be available at OTH on April 17th and at No74 Berlin, No 42 Paris as well as selected Consortium retailers worldwide as of April 25th.
