At the beginning of the summer, we introduced you to Nespresso’s Limited Edition OriginaLine iced capsules that were specifically crafted to be enjoyed cold. If you’re not familiar with the new collection, there are two that having differing intensities. The first and boldest capsule is called “Intenso”, whose beans have been sourced from Brazil and Costa Rica. The second has a  much lighter flavour profile and it’s named “Leggero,” which has a blend of Kenyan and Colombian beans. So depending on the day you’re having, or the strength of your coffee you enjoy, there’s a flavour for everyone.

When putting the ice coffee together, we recommend preparing it in a clear, tall glass and use a milk frother to make it feel like you’ve been served at your local Nespresso boutique. You’ll also need an OriginalLine coffee machine in order to use the limited edition capsules.

To get that voluminous and delicious froth, we used Nespresso’s Retro Aeroccino frother. The good-looking machine is straightforward, easy to use, and it’s capable of frothing up to 240 ml of hot or cold milk. With the simple push of a button, Aeroccino prepares the milk in about 70 to 80 seconds and you simply need to take off the cover and pour! To use the cold milk setting on the Aeroccino, you simply need to hold down the power button for two seconds.

We’ve put together a checklist of ingredients and tools you’ll need to make Nespresso iced capsules.
