Dr Romanelli’s most recent line deals with the inherent tradition and passion within the military uniform. Named Surgical Strike, the mission here was to add unyielding form to the evident function of military fatigues from an assortment of cultures and eras.
Romanelli was able to inherit the vibrant voice of these military garments and make them his own. In typical DRx style, he combined the finest leather, buttons, zippers, and other accoutrements to blend with the raw fatigues. This dichotomy served to make a stunning garment that displays postmodernism at its finest; a perfect mix of high and low culture.
