Like Cam’ron made Purple Haze, Clarks has crafted the Kudu pack. It’s a collection of some of their most iconic silhouette but expressed in a unique purple. In this pack they’ve selected the Desert Boot, Desert Trek, Wallabee, and Weaver to undergo a special treatment executed by C. F. Stead, who utilized Kudu leather.

If you’re not familiar with the material, Kudu leather comes from an antelope (of the same name) that can be found in Eastern and Southern Africa. What makes the leather distinctive is the scratch marks that are found throughout because of their grazing habits in the bush. These imperfections are typically seen as special characteristic and should be left untouched. With that said, the leather experts at C.F Stead, have enhanced these features using blends of oils and waxes. As a result, every shoe will have unique characteristics, enriching both the appearance and individuality of each pair.
