After the Jay-Z concert in New Jersey I was invited to the 40/40 Club to grab some drinks and hang out. As we got to the door we kindly told the bouncers we were there to see Desiree Gonzalez (co-owner and GM) and the bouncers immediately (after checking the facts) they escorted us in trough the side door and had us wait in this room.

Desiree came a short while after and gave us the entire tour of the venue. We walked trough the kitchen to get to another room which was such a “Goodfellas” moment, in that room we met OG Juan…moving on. Desiree was so dope she set us up in a vip booth and told us everything was on the house! It was like 2am in the morning and I was starving so I decided to order a Philly Cheesestake.

Who orders a Cheestakes in a club? I guess there is a first time for everything.

I would really like to share with you guys my experience with this 2am philly, but frankly I don’t remember, everything tastes good at 2am.

After all the fun and drinks we decided to break out and the our host then came back with some gift bags. Desiree unfortunately had to break out to catch an early PJ to VA for the next stop on Jigga’s tour. How dope is that?

Inside the gift bag was a 40/40 Club cap and t-shirt, what a cool gesture!

The 40/40 club is a really dope sports bar with ESPN on the screen at all times. The music was on point and the place was just packed! You might want to get bottle service and a table to fully enjoy the experience.

The 40/40 Club is a chain of All-American sports bars and lounges owned by hip hop mogul Jay-Z and partners Desiree Gonzalez and Juan Pérez. The name is borrowed from the baseball term [1] used to denote the exclusive group of Major League Baseball players who have achieved the rare individual feat of recording 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in a single season.

My family at Live Nation invited me out to New Jersey leg of the Jay-Z Blueprint 3 Tour yesterday. I got to see Trey Songz, Young Jeezy and Jay-Z Featuring Memphis Bleek. Fabolous also made a quick cameo with Trigga to perform their hit song.

The coveted All Access pass…. This badge really means all access for real.

The amount of passes you need to maneuver around the restricted areas is quite hilarious. I guess I can join any leg of the tour with these badges.

I always like seeing the backstage programs, it really gives you a small look of how things get organized.

Jay-Z actually performed before Jeezy which was kind of unusual…Jay-Z had the crowd open for Jeezy when he came on stage.

Jay-Z’s wardrobe consisted of Balmain Jackets, Radii shoes and those cargo pants he loves to wear on tour. He had a entire room for his wardrobe alone. He threw a hat out in the crowd and then told someone he needed another and voila another black Yankees hat appeared.

Between me and you guys I was kind of disappointed that DJ Neil Armstrong was not on this tour…I felt like it was missing the personality of a DJ. Jay-Z had his engineer Young Guru on the 1’s and 2’s instead, Guru did an excellent job but I just feel like a DJ like Neil, brings a bit of action to the stage. I was really surprise to see Guru scratch it up though.

Overall is was a great show! When you go to a Jay-Z concert you know he is going to give you 100%.

I visited Venice beach while I was out in California and I have to say it is such a breath of fresh air, calming and serene. Venice is also home to a very famous/infamous skate park that is visited by hundreds daily, on a lucky day you can see some of your favorite pro’s skating the bowl. I was really impressed by the amount of youngsters and girls killing it at the park.

I was chilling with Hommy Diaz from DC who was probably getting inspired for FALL 2030 DC life Collection.

A carton showed up at the office on Friday from my family from Krew and Supra…oh my this was a heavy box of goods. I think they sent me every piece from their spring 2010 line. I decided to shoot the product in a more creative way around the office and gives you guys a peek of the fresh goods.

First let’s start with the denim, as you guy may know I am a fan of Krew denim. They sent me a few colours and a pair of Selvege that we will talk about later.

These are the super dope selvege jeans I was talking about! I love the cut and the fit.

These snapbacks are really dope. 1 of them says Original and the other says KREW in the LA KING’s font.

They sent me a few woven and plaid shirts. Green is a hot colour for spring!

Yup! I got 2 pairs of Skytop II’s, 1 in black suede and the navy leather. The Bandit is a really dope silhouette and the Cuban 1.5 with laces is very fresh and classic.

I got a long awaited package in the mail today! I’ve been hearing about this package for a few days now and it finally arrived. It came from the homies P-Plus and Lissa Monet…it was their acclaimed collaborative mix cd.

I think DJ’s are going to have to step their game up after this one… The packaging is so dope! WOW! I hope you guys notice the reference points.

The linear notes were originally written by hand which is such a great personal touch.

Double cd! 1 mixed by P-plus and the other mixed by Lissa Monet I was supposed to download it like everyone else but when word came I was getting 1 in the mail I decided to wait before I heard it. I’m glad I waited!

I love the imagery of the packaging…really shows the Dj’s love for music and fashion (if you know them, you’ll understand what I mean)

Yesterday I received some new kicks from my family at New Balance! I received 3 pairs of dopeness I want to share with you guys. This pair right here is the 875 Trail boot collaboration with Concepts out in Boston. The 875 is a boot-like runner and it includes RollbarT technology in the sole unit. These are really dope and the Concept signature brown and red colourway makes it so sweet! (Shout out to the homie Frank The Butcher over at Concepts)

I also got another pair of 875 Trails but in “All Black Everything” I don’t think these ever hit retail…they were brought in for seeding purposes.

Last but not least I got another Concepts collaboration but the 1500…these are insane, the colourway again is so very sweet. Concepts really does a great job on their collabs.

Additionally, NB designers used a PU Wedge in the heel (similar to the wedge that offers superior support in the NB 993) and compression molded EVA in the forefoot. The 875 features a full grain leather upper, pigskin leather lining, and embossed tongue tag.

With quality and durability a high priority, New Balance and Concepts pushed to maintain the same premium materials on both the 875 boot and 1500 sneaker. My boyish good looks got me another gig with the fellas at Bruxe for their Fall 2010 Accessories and Bag campaign shot by Vincent Tsang of On and Beyond (joking about the boyish good look thing) This is just a preview…I shouldn’t even be showing you guys this, but the fellas tweeted it last night so I guess I am off the hook ( no pun intended) (inside joke) I believe I am modeling the bag called The Marcus, unless they change the name of it by the time they read this post. The bag is incredible and I absolutely love it, not because it is called The Marcus but because it is functional and very stylish for a guy like myself who travels quite a bit. I will be sure to update you on the details once more information surfaces about the campaign and the products.

This was a crazy day and I can’t remember all the details but I will give it a shot. Chris and I were eating at TOAST somewhere in Hollywood and chopping it up with Gotti from Boo and Gotti Fame (R.Kelly’s boy) and I got a phone Call from my Homie, Hommy and he told me he was on his way to meet us. We drove back to Chris’s spot and then we headed to drop off some kicks to Tracy at the Fantasy Factory.

This is the giant wall and gate that keeps skaters from lurking and stalking the MTV cast.

We were greeted by Tracy who is the coolest guy you will ever meet! He is responsible for all the graphics, artwork and cool shit that happens around there (at least that’s what I got)

So Rob was skating around in these shoes…They have never really been seen before, they are called the SOCIAL MEDIA BLUES! Why? Because Rob is a Social Media King and this shoe incorporates all the media platforms that he is on. Twitter, Myspace and facebook…pretty interesting concept. He told us that he loves them and needs another pair because he keeps skating in them.

The guys over at Microsoft dropped off The original Tablet table, I don’t think it ever came out. This thing is unbelievable, its like the ipad but on steroids and it is an actual table.

Nike Held a benefit concert in Los Angeles at the Montalban Theater during Grammy weekend, with performances by Fabolous, Ahser Roth, Pac Div, Melanie Fiona and a few others.

The Montalban Theater is operated by Nike, they have a full theater, a Nike store and an NIKE ID and customization section.

All the employees at the Montalban were mad cool and showed us mad love!

A couple months earlier Kobe Bryant made the Motalban Theater his house.

They flew down the homie IZZY to hook Fabolous up with a pair of Bespoke’s which you will be seeing soon.

Izzy used my Bespoke has his screen saver which was really dope!!

I had predictions on what materials Fabolous would use…I was almost right! ha!

Of course I can’t show you the shoe or even talk about it…but it will be coming soon. The video they made of Fabolous and Izzy experience should be pretty dope!

Oh! Melanie Fiona is super talented, that girl can really sing!
