I love simple and easy to wear product, that’s why I love these Air Max 1′s from the Omega Pack. I got these a couple of weeks ago and finally decided to flick them up to show you guys. Don’t let the simplicity fool you, the shoe is very fresh and clean with subtle details.

You can’t really go wrong with navy sneakers, they look great with most jeans and especially khakis. Growing up navy and red used to be my favorite colour combination (think Helly Hansen) so these just bring me back.

All I have to say is that these are serious. I love everything about this shoe and the reference points makes them even more amazing.

There aren’t a lot of brands doing new things these days, so when you stumble upon one, you have to pay attention and share. Last year I blogged about this cool Norwegian company called SWIMS who were doing cool things with galoshes. For spring 2011 SWIMS will be changing the game once again by introducing these waterproof loafers. Who else is making a “TODS” waterproof driving shoe? The company was already a favorite of mines for being innovative and bringing sexiness to such an unattractive accessory like galoshes and now they’ve just outdone themselves.

The loafers are comfy and molded in the SWIMS durable signature rubber with anti-bacterial mesh-lining. The outer sole is made with SWIMS natural rubber for superior grip on a boat or a slippery surface. The ventilating gills on the side makes the shoe breathable and the foot bed is also odor resistant, how cool is that?

These will be dropping Spring 2011 and retail for about $150

The Story about the company

Growing up with four distinct seasons in Norway, I never let go of the black rubber galoshes that my late grandfather passed on to me. In 1999 they accompanied me to a milder, but still rainy Paris. Wearing Chuck Taylor’s Converse and galoshes, I got around the severe rainfall that autumn. Not surprisingly, my footwear became the subject of many jokes around the art school I attended. Later, while living in New York, I blended in with an image-conscius culture that defied slushy streets, freezing winds and pouring rain. Naturally, this resulted in a lot of discomfort and many ruined pairs of shoes.

A few more Manhattan winters went by while I searched for the right product before I finally took matters in my own hands and decided to develop SWIMS – The Modern Galosh! A couple weeks ago I received these Oliberte Abido boots in antique brown and I finally got the chance to wear them last week in Vegas for The Project show. I’ve posted about my love for the Abido’s before but now I can state that the antique brown is my favorite color. These feel great with no socks because of the soft goat leather lining. The shoe is made in Ethiopia and it uses recycled crepe rubber outsole. They are really easy to break in and look great with blue jeans.

I’m a bit apprehensive about showing you guys products that are not yet available in the market place but I wanted to share with you guys some amazing things from Sebago. This little collection is part of Sebago’s 1946 collection and I think it is really nice! The color combination and the subtle hit of red leather laces make it stand out pieces. These shoes look rich and beautiful and will be produced in a limited run.

This fall is all about having a good pair of Dr. Martens in your rotation. Back in the day I went to school with Skinheads and DM’s were pretty much part of their uniform so I never really took a liking to them. A few years later R&B singers appropriated them and they become pretty popular amongst my friends. For the past couple of years a lot of my Japanese peers have been rocking Dr. Martens as a statement piece and all of the recent collaborations have made them an item to have. I’m really feeling the rich leather of these 1460′s.

I almost got styled in these for my Complex magazine shoot but they did not have my size. These studded Honja High’s are bad! I’m sure MJ would have killed these for his BAD video if they were out. I’ve always been a fan of the Y-3 line by Adidas and shoes like these are the reason why!

How Crazy are these boots? These are the M Lumber Boots by Filippa K and they look incredible. What I love most about these boots are the vintage look of the leather. They look a bit used and the more used the better. These are part of the Fall 2010 lineup and should be dropping in September.

I am really looking forward to Fall now!

These are real bad, real bad Michael Jackson. I love these! These Kim Mid Lace in grey are superb, I need to get my hands on these. Filippa K really went hard on these beautiful puppies. The trim detail is really nice and the outsole gives it a different look. These are from the spring collection so you can maybe find them on sale.
