“Mark Holmes, former Design Director of Established & Sons launched the first collection for his new brand, Minimalux, in Milan last year.
The collection consists of 18 tabletop objects based around two basic shapes: the cube and the cylinder, serving as containers for pens and small trinkets, as well as salt shakers and egg cups.
I think this is so cool…you have to love the design, I have always loved accessories like pen holders and candles on my desk.
I was really debating with myself if this Tod’s helmet is a coolhunt or an accessory? I decided to include into the cool hunt section, because I believe this is not for everyone and will be pretty hard to find. I think they are amazing! The black one is OG fresh!
“Tod’s have launched a helmet as part of their latest expansion which has included ready to wear collections for both men and women” “The Tod’s helmet is made of tough leather similar to that used for their shoes with a supple leather lining. The helmet is designed for use on the classic Italian Vespa and has a protective visor.”
Winery Moët & Chandon is once again provided another special gift this holiday season.
Moët has introduced a limited edition Celebration Set, featuring a bottle of Imperial Magnum and eight individual Champagne flutes. Each glass has imperial golden bubbles, marked individually with Swarovski crystal colors.
The designer set was created in conjunction with the renowned Parisian jewelers and engravers La Maison Arthus-Bertrand. The two brands are synonymous with the utmost quality, and together they define culture and class, making the limited edition celebration set a must-have for this Holiday season.
“Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail has launched their Rémy Martin Louis XIII Rare Cask Cognac which is being touted as “supremely rare”.
Baccarat artisans have created a fresh version of the iconic Louis XIII decanter, whose shape was inspired by an ancient metal flask that was found in the mid 19th Century on the site of a 16th Century battleground.
Handcrafted in black crystal, more than 50 operations are necessary to make a Louis XIII decanter, all of which must be executed by a team of some 20 master craftsmen working together before the glass cools.
The neck of the decanter is dressed in palladium.
The decanter is presented in a coffret forged in metal. Mirrors and internal lighting aim to display the lustre of the black crystal, and the neck of the decanter is secured by a metal clasp that is designed to present the black crystal stopper like a precious jewel.
The coffret is embellished with a quatrefoil design inspired by the royal fleur-de-lys of France, aiming to offer a contemporary rendition of a traditional motif that celebrates the historic roots of Louis XIII.
Only 786 bottles are available worldwide and each bottle comes for a price of €10,000 (about $15,000).”
This phone kind of looks like a phone from the 80′s but we will give Tag Heur the benefit of the doubt.
“TAG Heuer has announced the release of a new phone, dubbed TAG Heuer MERIDIIST Automobili Lamborghini.
The phone is crafted from titanium and crystals with a top coat of stainless steel.
The keyboard features the bull logo for Lamborghini while the back of the device is engraved with the phone’s limited edition number.

It’ll only be made in a limited edition of 1963 examples, honoring the year which the Italian sportscar-maker started business, available exclusively from Lamborghini and TAG Heuer retailers.”
Here you have this really cool Motorcycle Helmet by Ruby for Maison Martin Margiela. A cool hunt for sure because this is not for everyone. If you got a Vespa this might be a good look!
This is very clever! If you have an Iphone but can’t afford a case you should get one of these for $0.99 or you can go to http://www.case-mate.com/ and make your own! They also have a great contest. Read below
“Following the huge success of the $0.99 Recession Case made out of cardboard, case-mate is holding a photo contest where participants will have to add their own artistic twist to the case, take a picture, and upload it. The picture with the most votes receives the Grand Prize: a super sweet 1982 Suzuki FA50 moped and runner’s up get a shopping spree in the case-mate store. Also, if $0.99 is too much money, plans for building the case for free are available to download on the case-mate recession case contest site.”
I don’t suggest you waste these! Unless you are super rich and feel like you can…
Dutch Design house, Oooms has created this set of ultra-luxury, 14 karat gold-plated staples, packaged in a velvet jewelery style case.
Intended primarily as a form of jewelry, these luxury pieces can be applied to clothing (or just about anything) with the help of your average stapler.
24 pieces of these goldplated staples will cost you 140 euro ($210).
Who comes up with these clever things? Wow…very interesting, I had to put this into coolhunts because it is not for everyone.
“These Sonic Fabric neckties($90/each) is make from sonic fabric, which is woven from 50% recorded audio cassette tape(used) and 50% colored thread the fabric is actually audible if you run a tape head over it!”
“You will need to rip apart an old Walkman, you free the playhead from the player and then rub it over the fabric, with the headphone you will hear the music of the fabric. It contains the designer’s own music, a soundscape of samples grabbed from the NYC metro system.”
I think this is pretty crazy and clever all at the same time…
