What started off as a bet over a beer between two friends has now become an internationally recognised label and a dream come true for friends Leith Testoni and Jonathan Yeo of premium menswear label ZANEROBE. When asked how ZANEROBE came to be, they recall seeing a guy dressed in a hideous striped shirt and Jono betting Leith, who originally had the more prominent interest in fashion, that he couldn’t design a better shirt. In Jono’s words ‘it was on’.

Today, the name has become synonymous with strength and masculinity and their ranges are well known internationally for their point of difference, quality workmanship and clever, bold designs. In recent times, the label has transformed and embarked on an alternate journeys with their collection designs, paths that explore the realms and nuances of fashion through music and art – a defining moment for the label as popularity for collections intensified globally. Ten years in, ZANEROBE is hanging in the cream of stores including Australia’s David Jones, Japan’s Barneys, the USA’s Nieman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks and Bloomingdales.

Before I touch down under earth I need to own a Polo Ralph Lauren leather bomber jacket. I see them every season but I just can’t bring myself to purchasing this piece. I find myself  gawking at this dope piece every single time but I just need to buckle up and make this purchase. I am absolutely positive that after a few months of wearing this jacket it will look even better.

You can just tell when a piece is well designed. A trained eye can just look at a garment and tell if the fit will be right. Good clothing is really suppose to fit you properly. A piece is just not a piece, yes everyone has a varsity jacket but not everyone has the right fit. Reigning Champ makes some of my favorite sportswear pieces. I came across this new Heavy Weight Terry Varsity jacket with the strip cuff detailing and it is really nice.

The Heavyweight Terry Varsity Jacket makes another appearance in Reigning Champs Spring/Summer collection. For the warmer seasons, this is a fan favourite as a lighter varsity alternative made of the brand’s signature heavyweight french terry. The CYC produced cotton jacket features a fold down collar and heavy duty #8 zipper makes the garment warm as well as breathable.

I’ve never had a better fitting suit than my Tiger of Sweden suit. It fits me like I was born to wear this ensemble! The best part of the suit is that I was able to wear it off the rack, no alterations needed. Tiger of Sweden just became my favorite suit brand. I need a few more of these suits in my life.

I had a chance to take a look at Lincs by David Chu Fall 2012 Collection and it was awesome. Each piece that I had a chance to preview was so well designed and crafted. I have a new found respect for David Chu and his new ventures. That double breasted pea coat jacket is something special. Looking forward to acquiring some of these pieces for the fall.

I have an obsession with jackets, I’m sure you guys can tell. This Undercover leather jacket is so soft and beautiful. It’s a bit expensive but the quality and workmanship makes it all worth it and I am sure you will have it forever.

Some pieces just speak to me in magical ways. This NEXUSVII quilted jacket is just so good. Do you agree? Back in the day, quilted jackets were cool but they were always so big, I guess that’s why  this piece is a bit nostalgic to me. I need this in my life and the fact that it’s in navy, makes me want it even more.
