Sigma amazed the people with the release of the 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art. Although, Canon has countered with their new EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM lens. The wide aperture of the new Canon 85mm will help obtain extra bokeh in photographs and get the shallow depth of field that many people enjoy.

Canon rumours are reporting that Canon will be announcing an 85mm f/1.4L IS with image stabilization in mid-summer. The addition of image stabilization has been a request from many photographers, which is perfect to shoot at a slower shutter speed and help prevent any blurriness during a shoot.

Will you be getting your hands on the new 85mm f/1.2 or wait for the f/1.4 with Image Stabilization later the summer?

You can purchase and learn more about the lens online at Canon.
