Accessories: Tiny Little Chairs by Bruxe
December 23rd, 2009A couple months ago I visited The REKOGNIZE Studio Design house and they showed me a little project they were working on. At first it was just molds and an idea, which transformed into what you see above. I think the project is genius and has a lot of legs (pun intended) Here you have Tiny Little Chairs by Bruxe, a series of precious metal pendants celebrating mid century design, handmade in Montreal by Bruxe design & Uranium Neckwear. If you know anything about design, art and chair culture, you will definitely appreciate these pendants.
I believe in this project and I feel that the initiative and the inspiration behind this are incredible. What I also fancy about this project is the point of reference of each piece, which I think is so amazing.
I would love to hear your thoughts? If you also recognize some of the inspiration behind the designs please leave it in the comments…might be a special prize for a lucky commenter.
These will be available in the New Year in Silver, Gold and even Platinum.

Haha, one of the chairs look like the ones they have in my local barbershop. Brilliant idea and execution. Happy holidays to all of you!
I recognize The Barcelona Chair, The Tulip Chair and The Eames Chair, this is AMAZING, makes me think of the good old days in design school. Good times.
So lovely! That’s definitely a tiny little Eames DCW on the left – I’ve actually spent the past couple years fruitlessly Googling to see if one exists. Awesome that somebody stepped up to the plate!
I think I see a shell side chair, too.
These are great! I am studying Interior Architecture and have always loved the Barcelona Chair… i would love to see what they look like on.
