I agree with Marcus in the above post. & to Chamo…I haven’t seen any rappers wearing any Timex watches. But what I have been seeing alot of is G-Shock & Nooka watches.

Chamo » @ Chamo, cool guys have been wearing gshocks and timex watches before they were cool. Scenesters and people in the know always had those watches. We all grew up wearing timex watches cause they were cheap and our mothers bought them for us. With the resurgence of 80′s fashion people have gravitated back to these styles and silhouettes. It’s a bit nostalgic even. And if anything rappers like Lupe and Kanye only brought some of these styles to mainstream light and acceptance. It’s been happening on the underground scene for years. I am sure if you ask Kanye, Lupe and P they will tell you that they did not invent that as a style. Some people think P made skateboarding cool. Making something mainstream and influencing people to do something does not make you the originator.

so a couple rappers start wearing those stupid watches and all a sudden it’s SOOOOOOOO cool, poor followers, create your own style, stop copying the lupes, pharrells, etc…
