Accessories: MCM Umbrella

April 25th, 2012

Summer doesn’t seem to be coming this season and I think it is all good because I got a new umbrella! A few weeks ago I received this nice umbrella from Luxury brand MCM. A good umbrella should be an essential in every man’s closet. What makes a good umbrella? I think it is more about the style, handle and form. You don’t want an umbrella that blows in the wind. You want something that’s sturdy, solid with a nice handle. In this case my new MCM fits the bill.

Thanks MCM.

I’ve always been a fan of DITA eyewear, I find that they fit the shape of my face the best. When I was in NYC the folks over at Tina Catherine‘s gifted me a dope pair of DITA’s. The Transmission’s are pretty cool and fit me perfectly. The Dita’s are made in Japan and crafted with great details.

Last week, I purchased the new camo DSPTCH camera strap and ironically one showed up in the mail from the good folks over at DSPTCH who were trying to send me one for a while. Ha! Now I have two DSPTCH camera straps and I am very happy about that.

Made in the USA.

Thanks you to DSPTCH for the love.

Founded in 2010, DSPTCH was established as a design and manufacturing company that would provide affordable, functional, and simple accessories for everyday users. While drawing inspiration from the tactical and military fields, the originating concept was built on applying the same meticulous design and functionality standards used for soldiers to consumer accessories and everyday items.

Our goal is to provide functional, affordable, and aesthetically-pleasing accessories to the growing global market and continue to innovate, re-think, and challenge the afterthought and underserved.

I’ve be using my Parabellum Bison Leather Iphone case a lot lately and I’ve been getting a lot of compliments. Well the compliments go to the creatives behind this incredible brand. They turn basic items into luxury must-haves pieces, from belts, bags and other great accessories.

Thanks to Commodore for the love.

If you’re looking for new iphone case I got you covered. I was waiting in the Austin airport during SXSW and a girl pulled out this really interesting IPhone case. The case was aluminum and felt indestructible which is a plus. It keeps your phone from feeling naked but keeps it protected without messing up the aesthetic of the beautifully designed phone. The case is expensive but after playing around with it I might have to make the plunge. EXOVault Aluminum Iphone case

Your sock game should be just as important as your shoe game. Long gone are the days of simple white or black sport socks. White Mountaineering makes some amazing socks and I think you guys should get involved. When we were in Japan I think between Nick Wooster and Andrew Pollard they bought a few pairs each. They are just so dope! Thank me later.

Don’t sleep on a dope key chain… If you’re going to spend time  making sure your outfit is right I suggest you also do the same for all your accessories. My favorite key chain at the moment is the DELUXE  ”Freak Out” Key Chain in Black. The fish hook detail is fresh and you can’t go wrong with Deluxe. It’s going to cost you a bit of coin but I think its worth it if you care about details.

I recently received the Tahoe Duffle by Lexdray and it is fantastic. More pockets than you could want in a 7-day bag. They’ve used the best fabrics and materials to make the bag functional, durable and also stylish. My favorite part of this giant duffle is the backpack straps! If you’ve ever bolted to terminal 3 at LAX, you’d know exactly what I’m talking about.
