This new Levi’s Vintage Clothing Shop in Tokyo looks beautiful. I hope to see it next year when I am in Japan. Something about retail really speaks to my heart, I love the merchandising, the product and the layout, all of these elements add to the shopping experience.
They carry the Levi’s xx collection which I spoke a bit about a couple months ago.
“XX” is an abbreviation for “extra extra strong”, an industry reference to the exceptional quality denim used by Levi Strauss & Co. when they created the world’s first pair of jeans in 1873.
Levi’s®XX is home to a team with a passion for simple, authentic and quality products.
* Update I reported earlier that this shop was called the Levi’s xx concept shop but my friends over at Levi’s informed me that the shop is actually called Levi’s vintage clothing.

I’ve been sitting on these Emerald’s since August and I’ve been waiting to show them to you guys…I just never got around to shooting them, but today is your lucky day!. My homie who’s working with the Element Team gave these to me during Magic to check them out and share my feedback. I remember when Pharrell was wearing an Element t-shirt in “When’s the last Time” Video with The Clipse, everyone wanted a piece of that brand. I don’t think at the time Pharrell was known as Skateboard P but his style and attire sure made the brands he was wearing feel a bit more lifestyle and crossover. I kind of have the same vibe & feeling about these shoes!
The Emerald’s are a lot more lifestyle than strictly skate, I like the look and feel of these shoes. The packaging and box are all environmentally friendly which makes it even more fresh. I’ve always felt that Skateboarding pioneered trends and challenged traditions so this is right up the alley for a brand like Element.
Share your thoughts?
“Element is proud to present The Emerald Collection, a natural progression in skateboard lifestyle footwear. Every emerald shoe focuses on design, fit, and comfort, and makes use of materials and techniques that are Conscious by Nature.
An Emerald represents the highest level of the color green and was selected over platinum or gold to signify the premium quality of the collection.
The journey of a thousand miles …Starts with a single step.
Available Oct. 1, 2010 at skateboard specialty and boutique footwear retailers”

Striver’s Row is a men’s lifestyle brand that breathes life into fashion by studying the past.
I discovered Striver’s Row this past August at the Project Trade Show in Las Vegas. I was told by several people to check it out and once I did, I instantly fell in love with the brand. Without even knowing the full story behind Striver’s Row I felt like the brand embodied so much heritage and each piece seemed so well crafted and designed. It was very reminiscent of another brand that I loved, called PRPS. The collection looked worn & used and it really spoke to my sensibilities and taste. I knew right away I wanted to know more…
Later that day I sat down with 1 of the collaborating partners Jason Geter who educated me on the brand, the inspiration and the story. It was also revealed to me that the other collaborative partner was none other that Emmett Harrell the creative genius behind Akademiks (they had the best denim in game) and PRPS. It felt good knowing that my hunch was right… I knew there was an aesthetic that I loved about Striver’s row, so the association in my mind made sense.
If ever you are visiting or live in Atlanta you can check out the Striver’s Row Flagship store that opened up in 2009. Stay tuned as I update you guys with more information and imagery from this brand.

I’ve been traveling around the world with these Qwstion bags and they are pretty amazing! I feel like the company really analyzed what travelers wanted in a bag and then they created it. I own the collection in black and I am looking forward to getting my hands on this red series. The red color is limited edition and is only available at select stores. What I really love about this weekender bag is that is also turns into a backpack for when you need to run trough the airport.

The office bag is also very dope! It dubs also as a backpack if need be. Carries your laptop and all your other gadgets.

This bag is called the organizer and it is is becoming my everyday bag! It is compact and really keeps everything you need. The removable laptop sleeve is a great touch.

Check out QWSTION for more details
Complex killed this cover! It is pretty great.
