When I was in NYC last week with Asics I was put up at the Club Quarters World Trade Center Hotel on Washington street, right behind the WTC. The Hotel is about 5 months old and is very modern and technologically advanced. A few key interesting things was the self check in at the hotel. You can check in on the computer screen in the lobby and it assigns you a room number and prints you out a key. (pretty cool)
The rooms are small and cozy and have a great view depending on what floor you are on. There was also a small screen by the bed head and you can adjust the temperature, which is amazing for a guy like myself who always needs to change the temp during the night. I hate having to get up and turn off the AC. The one downer is the construction all around the hotel which could be a bit annoying. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and I was able to walk around the city because of its close proximity to the action.

Earlier on this year I had the privileged and pleasure of working with some of the most talented people in their respective fields. I believe the The Nexus Project is going to be really epic and I am happy I was able to be a part of it. I will be shedding more light on this project as it comes to fruition in the next couple of weeks.
Look out of the story and feature in the next issue of Antenna Magazine, Summer 2010 issue.
This weekend Asics brought me down to NYC to celebrate the release of the Ronnie Fieg x Asics Super Red release at Santos night club. It was pretty epic to see AZ and Cormega perform some of my favorite songs. Joell Ortiz had the crowd open off of Nissan, Honda, Chevy and Consequence made an impromptu performance for the NYC crowd. All the music was provided by Dj Enuff and Dj Soul which are always dope to hear on the 1′s and 2′s
The event was super dope and all my homies were in attendance! Shout out to Combat Jack, Joe La Puma, Andrew Weinstein, Pj Monte, Irving Jimenez, Tanaya Henry, William Yan, IZ, Glenn Law, Sean Munro, Hawaii MIKE and so many more. It was great to see everyone!
Dj Soul was responsible for all of the talent that came trough and the open bar sponsored by Guinness and Absolut Brooklyn. (spike lee collabo)
Ronnie and crew really put together a really dope event and the sneaker release was also as successful, selling out 252 pairs in 5 minutes! Congrats homie.
All the pictures were taken by the homie SQ and if you want to see more please here
Big Thanks to Ronnie Fieg and Asics for the hospitality!
Vans hosted us in LA last week for the launch of their OTW Fall collection. I am a huge fan of the collection, I believe it a great addition to the Vans lineup. The contemporary looks have me excited! They’ve managed to merge their traditional styling with a more modern footwear style while still maintaining their identity.
The event was held at the 7th street lofts in downtown LA. The space was beautiful and the decor was incredible. I broke my camera right before this trip so I had to use a small point and shoot to get the job done. (I hope you still like the pics) One of the dope things about the event, was the twin factor! Besides Atiba and his twin brother walking around all the host and bartenders were also identical twins. Being an identical twin myself and being around other twins is always kind of funny. ( it is a twin thing, you will never understand)
A lot of celebrities and people of interest rolled trough! RZA was on the turntables while Amber Rose walked the room. It was great to see Mister Cartoon, DJ MUGGS, EVERLAST, ESTEVAN, Krondon and all the other bloggers and artist who came trough. I got the opportunity to take a picture with OG and actor Danny Trejo! He has to be 1 of my favorite bad guy actors. ha!
All I can say is that Vans really knows how to throw a party and take care of their guest!

Big Thanks to Chris & Bobby at Vans for the experience.
