The saga begins in the year 2025 A.D. in Neo Tokio, a city-nation considered by its citizens the most technologically advanced society. But beyond the propaganda, it is really a simulated reality controlled by Supreme Executives for the sole purpose of pacifying and subduing all forms of creative freedom: restricting self-expression, curbing intellectual curiosity and perpetually enslaving it’s citizens.

After realizing the state of the union, Gommi Arcadian plans a rebellion against the corporate owners of Neo Tokio. In collaboration with a band of cyberpunks, using art as a weapon and research as ammunition, Gommi forms a resistance movement known as ARMi (Art, Research, Media and Intelligence), which strikes back at the empire utilizing innovative technology, graphic design and street art to spread inspiring messages of creative freedom.

I visited Venice beach while I was out in California and I have to say it is such a breath of fresh air, calming and serene. Venice is also home to a very famous/infamous skate park that is visited by hundreds daily, on a lucky day you can see some of your favorite pro’s skating the bowl. I was really impressed by the amount of youngsters and girls killing it at the park.

I was chilling with Hommy Diaz from DC who was probably getting inspired for FALL 2030 DC life Collection.

A carton showed up at the office on Friday from my family from Krew and Supra…oh my this was a heavy box of goods. I think they sent me every piece from their spring 2010 line. I decided to shoot the product in a more creative way around the office and gives you guys a peek of the fresh goods.

First let’s start with the denim, as you guy may know I am a fan of Krew denim. They sent me a few colours and a pair of Selvege that we will talk about later.

These are the super dope selvege jeans I was talking about! I love the cut and the fit.

These snapbacks are really dope. 1 of them says Original and the other says KREW in the LA KING’s font.

They sent me a few woven and plaid shirts. Green is a hot colour for spring!

Yup! I got 2 pairs of Skytop II’s, 1 in black suede and the navy leather. The Bandit is a really dope silhouette and the Cuban 1.5 with laces is very fresh and classic.

I got a long awaited package in the mail today! I’ve been hearing about this package for a few days now and it finally arrived. It came from the homies P-Plus and Lissa Monet…it was their acclaimed collaborative mix cd.

I think DJ’s are going to have to step their game up after this one… The packaging is so dope! WOW! I hope you guys notice the reference points.

The linear notes were originally written by hand which is such a great personal touch.

Double cd! 1 mixed by P-plus and the other mixed by Lissa Monet I was supposed to download it like everyone else but when word came I was getting 1 in the mail I decided to wait before I heard it. I’m glad I waited!

I love the imagery of the packaging…really shows the Dj’s love for music and fashion (if you know them, you’ll understand what I mean)
