Just a few years ago, literally Drake was my favorite new artist that not many people heard of…people swore I was a groupie because I just talked about how dope he was all the time. I would put on anyone who would listen to me about this kid from Toronto. I just knew that he was next! In a few years later, he is now the hottest dude in game who everyone is familiar with. He has been able to do in such a short period of time, what most artist spend a career doing. To see him grace the cover (in an amazing way) of one of my favorite magazine just makes me so proud, as a fan of the music.
The cover drops February 8.

Yesterday I received the the much talked about Africa piece from Good Wood NYC. They Collaborated with the emcee Chace Infinite, to promote positive images. “The GoodWood NYC X Chace Infinite – Africa, is a symbol that promotes both the remembrance of the place that gave birth to mankind, and a reminder that so many people in that continent are still suffering.”
“The GoodWood NYC X Chace Infinite – Africa recaptures a time when people were discovering knowledge, and opening their minds. Wake Up!” via street level
As a youngster I used to rock my fathers African Medallions and researched my peoples ancestry to find knowledge and appreciate my roots. I would definitely be rocking this piece with pride.
You can catch everyone from Jay Electronica, Talib Kweli, Bun B, Mos Def and Black Thought just to name a few rocking these personalized custom pieces. My homies Emeka and Tim Hotep have also been seen around wearing these pieces!
Don’t get it twisted! Africa can be embraced by everyone on this planet!!!
Big shout out to Chace Infinite, Chris, Mike and the Good Wood Family for the Love.

To commemorate the release of the converse weapon’s dropping January 29th, UNDFTD made a Bomber jacket to match the kicks. Converse did the production on the jacket and apparently it fits like a glove! I love this piece as well…it is limited to 144 pieces and should be gone pretty quickly. I will try and get my hands on this piece if I can, so should you!

These have to be some of the nicest sneakers of 2010! UNDFTD and Converse does it again with these Poorman weapons. These drop January 29th…so make sure you get a pair if you can. The navy is just so sexy! If you are counting this is the 3rd installment of this collaboration.
