A couple weeks back Nike approached me to see if I was interested in being featured on their website, they wanted to interview me about blogging, Montreal and fashion. I humbly agreed and the feature is finally up and I wanted to share it with you guys. Thanks for the love and support as always!
Thanks to all my readers, fans and non-believers. I do this for you guys!
See you in the New Year!

NIKE SPORTSWEAR INTERVIEW: BEST OF 2008
“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan “Press On!” has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.” ~ Calvin Coolidge

Some of us like to ponder on the past year and figure out how we can improve ourselves in the New Year. I know it sounds cliché but the New Year always makes you want to reinvent yourself and start over. I try to treat everyday as if it were a new year, If we are fortunate enough to wake up in the morning, we have been giving the opportunity of a new day to start over and to right our wrongs. The New Year is great time to turn a new leaf, develop new relationships, become better people and become better at what we do. The New Year is the best time for reflection and the time to create resolutions to keep for the upcoming year.

We often decide that we aren’t taking any more shit and we start the list of all the things we want to eliminate from our lives. We make decisions to stand our ground and to hold on to what we believe in. Sometimes our new outlook leads to arguments and misunderstandings with the people in our lives but it’s all in the in the quest to becoming better than we once were. The New Year is also a great time to cut off of the people who have brought negative influences and energy into our lives and cultivate new relationships with like-minded people.

I think opportunities are just waiting to be had! Everyone seems to be open to the idea of new opportunities and building new alliances in the New Year, especially in the beginning of the year. I firmly believe that opportunities are seen with the mind not the eyes and paying attention and listening is a great way to cultivate new opportunities.

Take a closer look at yourself! Sometimes we are the reasons to why things are not the way we want them to be. We are often the reasons and the answers to our problems and issues. We create jail cells in our mind that prevent us from being free and seeing the light. I think we should all look at ourselves a little closer and try to understand us first before we try to understand others. I think this year we should pay attention to ourselves and focus on us. We need to watch the moves we make instead of only focusing on the moves of others.
So I will leave you with my catch phrase of the New Year!
“09 Time to Shine and Get Mine”
So please get yours… or help me get mine!

I really wanted to show you guys these Balenciaga High-Tops Sneakers for men, I think they are very exquisite and sophisticated. The mixture of materials gives it a unique look and we know Balenciaga loves to push the boundaries when it comes to fashion.

1. What are you really thinking about today? – “As you think, so shall you become.”
2. Simplify. – “It’s not the daily increase but daily decrease. Hack away at the unessential.” and “If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done.”
3. Learn about yourself in interactions. – “To know oneself is to study oneself in action with another person.”
4. Do not divide. – “Take no thought of who is right or wrong or who is better than. Be not for or against.”
5. Avoid a dependency on validation from others. – “I’m not in this world to live up to your expectations and you’re not in this world to live up to mine.” and “Showing off is the fool’s idea of glory.”
6. Be proactive. – “To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.”
7. Be you. – “Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it.”

If I had this bed by Hollandia I would never leave my house. This Safe-t bed incorporates a safe and a TV for the James Bond in you.
“Originally constructed for an international customer who wanted to keep a handgun safely stored next to him while he slept, Hollandia’s SAFE-T Bed was designed with a small safe built into the base of the bed frame. Located underneath the mattress, at the joint where the base of the bed meets the headboard, the small safe is camouflaged by cloth and is accessed with a small key. The bed also comes equipped with a motorized, hidden television integrated into the foot board.”
$20,400 price tag.
