French fashion icon Yves Saint Laurent, widely hailed as one of the greatest designers of the 20th century, died Sunday in Paris. He was 71.

“Yves Saint Laurent died Sunday at 11:10 pm,” announced his foundation, the Pierre-Berge-Saint Laurent Foundation.

The french fashion company hermès recently teamed up with eurocopter, the world’s third largest aerospace group to create l’helicoptre par hermès, a luxury helicopter. The new helicopter was first unveiled at the national business aviation association’s 2007 conference in atlanta, after years in the making and months of intense preparation. They wanted to design a helicopter from the user’s point of view.
