My Life: Dunk Wars

Some of you may know that the Nike Air Dunk is celebrating it’s 25th year of existence, Nike is pushing this launch in a big way. With that being said, they have created the Dunk Wars website to battle and commemorate some of the most memorable dunks (8) to be exact. They also choose 8 key influencers and trendsetters to represent each 1 of the dunks. Well your boy Marcus Troy has been elected as one the Team Captains, my team represents the Terminator Highs. I am going against a great competitor Kevin Marzo from the Inquiring Mind crew. So watch the video’s and cast your vote for the best candidate. (but I want you to vote for me) Anyhow if you feel that I should win please vote for me on the battle! I am battle number 2…the link above should guide you there…
You have to watch the video before you can vote. It is quiet entertaining!!!

Footwear: Y-3 by Adidas
I can’t say I love Adidas but Y-3’s is definitely up my alley, I almost bought these yesterday at Browns shoes here in Montreal, but I passed (I’m still wondering why?) They are really dope and slick, and the leather is like butter, snug fit and minimalistic branding. The 1 deal breaker for most people besides the price point may be the studs behind the sneaker…
Footwear: Common Project
I got to speak on this brand again Common Project, they make some really dope pieces and are slowly becoming my favorite non-athletic brand. They are very Vans inspired but I think they bring their own twist, but who isn’t in the vulcanized game?
These delights can be found at 1 of 2 shops in Canada, Nomad in Toronto and Haven in Edmonton. I am sure other shops have picked up on them as well but those are 2 I know for sure.
